Local Storage
Conversation History & Usage Data: All your conversation history, usage statistics, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
Third-Party Services
- OpenRouter: AI queries are processed through OpenRouter's API. Your prompts and responses are transmitted securely but are processed on OpenRouter's servers
- Firebase Auth: Authentication data is managed by Google Firebase with industry-standard security
- RevenueCat: Subscription and payment information is securely handled by RevenueCat

- Secure HTTPS/TLS connections for all API communications
- Local encryption for sensitive data on your device
- Firebase Auth security protocols
- No storage of conversation data on our servers
Important: While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We do NOT sell your personal data
Your data is shared only with essential service providers:
- OpenRouter: Your AI queries are sent to OpenRouter for processing through various AI models
- Firebase (Google): Authentication data for account management
- RevenueCat: Subscription and payment processing
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety
Note: Your conversation history stored on your device is NEVER shared with any third party unless you explicitly export and share it yourself.

Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data in the following ways:
In-App Data Deletion
Cognify provides an in-app data deletion feature that allows you to delete all your data directly from within the application:
- Open the Cognify app on your device
- Navigate to Settings
- Scroll down to find "Delete All My Data" option
- Tap the button and confirm your choice
What gets deleted:
- All conversation history stored locally on your device
- Usage statistics and token consumption data
- App preferences and settings
- Authentication tokens and API keys
- Local database files and cached data
- Your Firebase authentication account (optional)

If you cannot access the app or need additional assistance with data deletion, you can email us at:

Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line and provide your account details.
Data Retention
After deletion:
- Local Data: Immediately removed from your device
- Firebase Auth: Account can be deleted immediately or retained based on your preference
- Third-Party Services: Data processed by OpenRouter is not permanently stored; RevenueCat subscription data follows their retention policy
- Backups: Any backup copies will be purged within 30 days
Note: Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported any important conversations or data before proceeding with deletion.
Children's Privacy
Cognify is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using Cognify, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
